RAVEN WINS GOLD FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR!!!
Thanks to all of our friends, family and FANS for supporting us at the 2008 Rafting Pentathalon! Raven Adventures set an unprecedented 3 year winning streak this season and re-claimed the coveted Mark Oddy Memorial Golden Paddle.  The comptetition was tight, and we would like to thank all Rafting companies who attended, and give a special shout-out to the Fantastic Judges who made this event possible;  Art, Bob, Clayton and Jamie...you guys rock!

Raven Adventures Setting Standards:
Raven Adventures prides itself in almost having the highest safety standards in North America. We are constantly re-evaluating safety protocol and equipment to provide the greatest and safest experience possible.

Transport Canada is attempting to release nationwide standards in order to regulate and provide a minimum level of safety standards. Raven Adventures believes this is a step in the right direction, but Raven Adventures also believes that the minimum standards set by Transport Canada are too low. Check for yourself. In the below attachments you can find the proposed standards laid out by Transport Canada, the standards held by JPROA (Jasper Nation Park River Outfitters Association) and the proposed changes to the standards from Raven Adventures. There is a large battle happening between dollars and client numbers vs. safety and an experience.
